Kocham came to me 2 years ago after being in an abusive home. He was practically featherless. He was way underweight and the vet didn't think he would make it a week.
The only thing he would say was "wanta bite" and "bad Bird" After a lot of love and care, he is a cuddlebug, and the love of my life. He is a chatterbox and the "bad Bird" theme is totally out of his vocabulary now.
This is the best photo I have taken of him and wanted to share his beauty. He still has some feather issues but I'm hoping one day he will be fully feathered.
Kocham is now 4 years old. He is a Blue and Gold Macaw.

poor boy! Can he say other things now? Will you buy him a partner? many birds loose their feathers because they are flock birds and need partners from the same species to be happy.

:wow: Kocham is awesome!!

It's good to know that he's much better, that he survived after an abusive treatment.
I love birds, and this is definitely a good story to read.

Tomorrow it was one year that my pet has died :( [link]

Please show us more Kocham's photos.

He's a beauty! I wish the best to you and your bird. B and G's are my favourite non-Hybrid macaws! When I get one, I'm going to get it from a shelter. Good Luck!
